e liar is wrong again, as always; it is the wasteful social spending that has taken our economy down, which is the bread and butter of the Dems. Thirty years of Dem obstructionism in our energy industry has weakened it to the point where we are beholden to terrorist states for oil. What Russia just did to Ukraine is what the Dems want to happen to us. The only solution to our energy “problem” is to unleash the free enterprise system by rolling back punitive taxation and eliminating obstructive regulations that make it more expensive to develop our own energy. That is the way to “energy independence” not windmills and solar panels.

This should not be a news flash. We had plenty of notice that Obama had a problem with coal. Actually it is not so much Obama as it is the far left extreme that will go into orbit if he bows to the necessity of keeping the coal fires burning. Our (your) senator Dorgan and Conrad and Rep. Pomeroy are going to be in the spotlight–they will have to explain to many ND’ans why the South Heart and perhaps other projects are scuttled. Ah yes, ND will get the short end of the stick again. But the CDP will be re-elected, as usual.

I agree that Obama’s interference in the coal industry could lead to negative outcomes. Although it is vital for us to keep our coal industry afloat, it is as imperative to gain ground on new technology to escape our dependence to coal. I believe photovoltaic technology is the future of our energy production.

Coal is an abundant resource. We get better each year at using it as a cleaner source of energy. To not exploit it is extremely foolish.

My message to these fools is simple…

“Fucking STOP hindering progress by hobbling our ability to produce energy from all means!”

We do not approve of having someone else divining our lives for us!

In the future, when some bone-head offers up something in this vein, we need to force them into living the full measure of their ineptitude…..

When the nascent, shallow-minded, sandal-wearing, burlap-shirted, tofu-munching, $hit-bag, ignorant, hippie, wants to deny us the means to provide ourselves a modern lifestyle we need to immediately withdraw the offending item(s) from their life…..

- No access to electricity, live “unplugged”
- No modernly derived medical assistance
- No articles derived from petroleum
- Impound their transportation (motor-vehicle/bicycle)
- Remove them from their modern domicile and erect them a mud hut in which to live
- etc ………………

I am sure this would quiet these post modern heretics….

….. but then I woke up and realized I now live in “Obama-Land”.
