Be On Jeopardy!

Ever wanted to be on Jeopardy but didn't have the time schedule a contestant interview? Well all that has changed.

Now you can take the test to qualify for Jeopardy! online. Pretty cool, no?

Personally, I'm pretty good at Jeopardy! when I play at home in my living room, but sometimes some oddball category I know nothing about screws me up. If I ever qualified for Jeopardy! I could just see myself going on national television and kicking butt until we get to the "Famous Modern Ballerinas" category or something like that.

On a related note, the exclamation mark behind Jeopardy! always cracks me up. It isn't just "Jeopardy," it's "Jeopardy!"

Considering the actual nature of the game, I’ve always thought of it as "Jeopardy ?"

I qualified once in the mid 80s but got lost in the shuffle as I moved a lot during this period… when I tried again in the late 90s, I noticed that the questions were oriented much more on the liberal arts and fine arts side… could have been coincidence, but their were more question oriented to females than males… e.g. the two sports questions were about female athletics and were quite easy (for supposedly 500 and 1000 dollar questions; this is before they doubled the question amoounts) whereas the they had a question related to fashion and interior design that were not, IMHO, "mainstream" knowledge.
