Barry Bonds Home Run Ball To Be Branded With Asterkisk, Sent To Hall Of Fame

Remember that poll about what should be done with Barry Bonds’ record-breaking home run ball that I linked to a while back?  Now you know the outcome.

I was still pulling for “use it as a urinal cake,” but this will work.

LOL, How cool is that? I am part of baseball history!

As I commented on the earlier post about waht should be done with the ball: The word “suppository” comes to mind.

Why use the ball as a urinal cake?  The ball didn’t do anything wrong.

What is going to happen to all those rubber chickens when Barry Bond leaves?

...he got the asterisk part right...It’s not clear if he stuck a syringe in it’s backside though.

Why can’t he sell the thing and get some money for it?

I’m kind of glad I lost the vote. This is funny.

During the time that Bonds is accused of having used steroids, they were not banned and their use was pretty wide spread. Trainers, like everyone else, kept their jobs by performing. It’s not impossible that players had creams applied and were given supplements without their knowledge. They kept many marginal athletes in the game who would have otherwise been shipped out.

You guys would have been the jury that convicted the Duke Lacrosse players.

They were illegal without a prescription.  Do we need to tell baseball players not to break the law?
