Barney Frank: What This Country Needs Is More Deficit Spending And More Tax Increases

From the man who brought us the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac debacle comes the solution to all our problems: More government spending, more deficits and higher taxes.


Make no doubt about it, this is Barack Obama’s strategy as well. Obama’s tax cuts for 95% of Americans? His only pretense to suggest that he’s not a big-government, tax-and-spend liberal? That’s really a tax increase on the people who pay the most taxes, and a check in the mail for people who pay nothing or next to nothing in taxes.
The sad thing is that these Democrats, who have been horribly wrong on everything from Fannie and Freddie to the war in Iraq, are probably going to stay in power because Republicans have lost sight of their conservative principles.

    Speaking personally, I think there are a lot of rich people out there who we can tax at a point down the road to recover some of this money.

    In Fairness, Barney’s Spending Plan seems directed at trying to help the current economic Boondoggle.
    However, he gives himself away with I’m sure we can find some Rich people to Tax and pay for it.

    Business already pays at the second highest tax rate in the World. Which is why so many have left the US. How many more can we Afford to Lose??

    He should be… but he won’t. He’s gay, lithp and all, and he has congressional tenure, sitting at the head of a powerful House Committee (Financial Services).

    Unlike Republicans, Congressional Democrats do not believe in the concept of right and wrong, even Roman Catholic Democrats, which is why it is so easy for them to excuse their bad bahavior with some nonsense about serving the needs of their constituents… even if that constituent is the man’s live-in boyfriend who happens to be the chief in-house lobbyist for Fannie Mae.

    And as easy as it would be to speculate on just who was f**king whom, the fact of the matter is that its the American taxpayers who ultimately take it in the a** because of Barney’s vile indiscretion.
