Barack Obama Yells At Old People
With his much-vaunted campaign and all its support from a friendly media establishment only able to eke out small poll lead over McCain, his “fifty state strategy” not exactly panning out like he’d hoped and Sarah Palin drawing crowds of 60,000 at campaign stops Barack Obama has to be feeling frustrated.
And unfortunately one poor old woman was the target of that frustration at a campaign event in Iowa.
I know Obama wanted a more “in your face” strategy, but c’mon. Yelling at little old ladies isn’t going to get you anywhere.
Was the woman heckling Obama? It’s hard to say, but to see Obama lose his cool like that in public is troubling. If Obama can’t take some tough questions (or at worst a bit of heckling) from an old lady at a campaign rally, what’s he going to do in the Oval Office?
Regardless, what you’re seeing is a candidate in trouble. He’s frustrated, and he’s lashing out, and that doesn’t say good things about the state of his campaign.
