Barack Obama To Be Keynote Speaker At North Dakota Democrat Convention

Yawn…

Grand Forks – Senator Barack Obama will bring his message of hope and optimism to North Dakota as the keynote speaker during the Democratic-NPL nominating convention this April in Grand Forks. Senator Obama will help open the convention with a speech on Friday, April 4.
North Dakota Democrats delivered an overwhelming victory for Senator Obama in their Feb. 5th caucuses; Obama won 62 percent in the Super Tuesday voting. Senator Obama has since held the lead in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Senator Obama said, “Record numbers of North Dakotans turned out to caucus for change on February 5th, and I am proud that so many new people became a part of this process. I thank Senators Conrad and Dorgan and Congressman Pomeroy for inviting me back to the state and look forward to continue working with the North Dakota Democratic-NPL Party to strengthen our party and achieve victory in November.”

A speech about “hope” and “optimism” from Barack Obama? How unique. I mean, I don’t think I’ve ever heard Obama talk about those things before.
Oh, wait a minute. That’s all he talks about it. Big, bland, vague speeches about “hope.” Because coming out and telling us what he’s actually going to do as President would be too hard, I guess. Or entirely too illuminating given that Obama is the single most liberal Senator in the US Senate.
You know who never comes to North Dakota? Ted Kennedy. You know why? Because he’s about as far-left liberal as you can get in the Democrat party and he wouldn’t play well in red state North Dakota. And Barack Obama is more liberal than him.
Good choice, Democrats!
Exit question: Will Obama be bringing Reverend Wright to North Dakota, or is the state too white for him?

Oh yeah Rob… Big, bland speeches about hope? I guess you haven’t taken the time to read Obama’s last two speeches. They were anything but bland, and his speech today on terrorism and the Iraq war were full of detail.

Obama has also made detailed economic speeches, but you’d actually have to pay attention to know that.

After reading the following speeches, see if you still feel that Obama isn’t trying to tell us what he plans to do:

Hope and optimism for who? Optimistic about more welfare and government programs? AND hopefully he will do a Jimmy Carter and change the speed limit to 55 again? When he speaks he doesn’t really have any real plans. He just talks! So what does he plan to do? I hope he tells us…
