Holds both American and Kenyan (since 1963) citizenship.
Significance? I don’t know.
Obama, if elected, wouldn’t be the first President who wasn’t exclusively an American. Presidents George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, John Quincy Adams, and Andrew Jackson were all born before America won its independence from Great Britain and were citizens of the British Empire. Martin Van Buren, actually, was the first President to be born after independence.
