So many flip flops! Grover Norquist has started calling Obama “John Kerry with a tan”!

For any voter trying to choose between the two candidates for commander in chief, there is no better test than this: When American strategy in a critical theater was up for grabs, John McCain proposed a highly unpopular and risky path, which he accurately predicted could lead to success. Barack Obama proposed a popular and politically safe route that would have led to an unnecessary and debilitating American defeat at the hands of al Qaeda.

I hate to say it but I think he has that right concerning the American publc, at least for the majority.  He can also count on the conservative disatisfaction with McCain.  Seems he has a lot going for him.  I guess we’ll find out how deep this is in November.

It would help if you provided a tape from November of Obama actually saying, “The DC gun ban is constitutional.” If you had that, then you could legitimately say that Obama misspoke.  Instead, you’ve provided a tape of him if February failing to argue with a reporter who said it.

What your tape actually show is Obama taking a consistent position over time: that the 2nd amendment provides a right to individual gun ownership, but does not preclude some regulation of gun ownership.
