Back And Feeling Much Better

Earlier this week I had to step away from the blog for a while to deal with a health issue that had cropped up.

Today I can announce, for those of you who care, that I’m feeling much better and will be resuming my normal writing schedule.

Thank you so much for all the well-wishes and the like. It really wasn’t that serious an issue, and I hope I didn’t needlessly concern some of you. It was just something very painful that required medication which made it fairly impossible to write. I know some of you probably think I’m on drugs anyway given what I write, but it’s not true.

In somewhat related personal news I’ve taken up a diet to shed some of the pounds the editorial board of the Fargo Forum made an issue out of. As any of you who have ever met me in person know, I’m very fat. It’s not something I’m proud of, and now it’s something I endeavor to do something about. I just got a clean bill of health from the doctor, including surprisingly low numbers for blood pressure for someone of my girth, but how much longer will that last if I stay on the path I’m on?

Not long I’m afraid. So the time has come to solve that problem. Perhaps, in a year or so, I’ll be so svelte some of you (including you, Fargo Forum) will have to think up new insults for me.
