Audio: Senator Hoeven Believes Crank Caller Is President Obama
Senator John Hoeven apparently got a crank phone call from some sort of an Occupy Wall Street offshoot called “Mock the Senate.” From the audio, you can hear a Hoeven staffer put the call on hold, and then you hear Senator Hoeven responding to an impersonation of President Obama.
In fact, Hoeven is so taken in that even after the impersonation of Obama utters some expletives, he’s still partially convinced he’s talking to the President.
What I’m wondering is, after the “President” says something like “bitch ass ni**er,” who Hoeven thinks he’s talking to. It was obvious at that point, from his laughter, that he thought it was a prank. “It took me a minute to guess who this was,” said Hoeven.
Who did he guess was calling and making racial slurs?
