Attention North Dakota Conservatives: Some Important Rallies And Events Coming Up This Week

One complaint I’ve often had about the North Dakota Republican Party is that there is far too little activism going on with the party. Everything they do is either some milquetoast letter to the editor/quote in some article of a fundraiser. There are rarely any rallies or any coordinated push-back against the Democrats. Particularly Senators Conrad and Dorgan and Rep. Pomeroy.
But this week they’re making an effort. Per an email from the NDGOP, they’ve got a number of events planned in the state for the week and they’d be worth your attention and attendance.
After holding tea parties all summer people keep asking me: What’s next? What do we do now? Well this is something you can do. Get involved. The NDGOP is far from perfect, but they can be a force for good if you get involved.

RALLY AGAINST GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTHCARE
STAND UP—TELL WASHINGTON TO LISTEN TO YOU
Where: Fargo Holiday Inn
When: 6:30 pm, Monday, December 14th
The ND Republican Party is organizing a group of Republicans to attend a healthcare rally, and voice their opposition, at 6:30pm at the Fargo Holiday Inn.
At 6:30, local Republicans will gather at the Restaurant at the Holiday Inn in Club Room #2. Hors doeuvres will be provided. From there we’ll make our way to the Healthcare Rally, also at the Holiday Inn, starting at 7pm.

The ND Republican Party is organizing a group of Republicans to attend a rally outside of Senator Dorgan’s Bismarck office.
PRESS CONFERENCE
Where: Ronald Reagan Republican Center – 1029 North 5th Street
When: 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 16th
The ND Republican Party is organizing a group of business owners to speak on the damaging results the current healthcare bill would have on small business owners.
STATEWIDE:
PRESS CONFERENCE CALL
When: 11:00 am, Monday, December 14th
North Dakota State Senator Ralph Kilzer will hold a press conference call on Monday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m. CST to discuss Republican efforts to stop the Congressional Democrats’ health care experiment on America. Senator Kilzer, an orthopedic surgeon, has previously served as a clinical professor of surgery at UND School of Medicine, as well as president of the 6th District Medical Association

Now you’re catching on, Dino. Although, it isn’t cynicism to believe that if you allow people to basically set their own budgets, they will inevitably rationalize why they need ever larger sums. The problem is much worse with government, including the Pentagon, though, because even if you and I catch on to their game, there isn’t anything we can do about it. We will continue to get forced into paying for it regardless.

Two more not-to-miss events for conservatives:

The Earth Is Flat, Dammit! group will meet at the Fargo YMCA to discuss the secret liberal plot to convince us that the world is round. Round! Can you believe it! Why, if it was round, how come we haven’t fallen off? Hmm? Eh? Huh? Dues will be collected but since conservatives hate to contribute to anything they think should be free (everything), we’ll pretend and have our future meetings at the government-funded library around the corner.

The Barney Frank Is the Devil Dictator with Absolute Power Who Forced George Bush and the Republicans To Destroy the Economy Club is holding a rally in Willston at the Holiday Inn on Main Street. To get there, drive your own damn car I’m not about to swing by and pick up any freeloaders! A covered dish is requested.

Your buddies at the Pentagon are preparing for the effects of global warming. Story was just on NPR about that. However, the cynic in me thinks the Pentagon just sees global warming as another excuse to triple their budgets.

And in other news, liberals continue to flock to Copenhagen to worship at the altar of, The Earth Has A Fever, the new religion founded by Al (Daddy Warmbucks) Gore. Topics on the agenda include:

How to silence dissenting opinion
How to cook up false data and make it look good
How to fleece the prosperous nations and people of the world for the benefit of ourselves

Be sure to bring your tin-foil hat, a warm coat, scarf, and gloves because it’s actually quite cold in Copenhagen.
