As Obamacare Advances In The Senate, Obama Hits His Lowest Approval Numbers Yet

It seems like the best thing Obama could do for himself right now would be to stop doing things.
Which, of course, coincides perfectly with the best thing he could do for the country as a whole.
Well, maybe not the best thing. He could stop inflating our national debt and halt the assault on our economy with the push toward more taxes and more regulation and more government take over. But that’s probably expecting too much for a liberal.
For right now, I’d settle for Obama taking the next few years off.

    Obama’s numbers are tanking because he is simply not doing what he said he’d do during the campaign, things that got a lot of people to vote for him.

    Then again, this would have made a lousy campaign ad.

    “HI, I’m Barack Obama. When I’m president, I’m going to do everything in my power take over the country’s biggest car companies, transfer billions of dollars in pork from the private sector to my labor union buddies and other special interest groups and lobbyists. I’m going to nationalize healthcare, raise your taxes, triple the federal deficit by spending borrowed money like it’s going out of style, travel the globe for photo-ops, prostrate America before the world, and do my best to get those poor black kids kicked out of the fancy schools where I’ll be sending my children.”

    You see, now that he’s done/doing all that sh*t, people are naturally responding with a more negative opinion of the person they thought they voted for.

    His drop is less pronounced than that of other leaders at a similar time in his presidency.

    Good leaders do not govern by polls of a largely uneducated populace. The people respond to their own emotions and disappointment that he hasn’t created Utopia for them yet. They’re like children and should be ignored as such.
