Arlen Specter Admits He Had No Idea What He Voted For

What a complete and utter scumbag Specter is. He votes for a bill then admits that he was utterly clueless about what was in it. This isn’t a rookie mistake as Specter’s been in office much longer than anyone should be.
About midway through the video he admits that they had no hearings on the biggest spending bill of all time. What are they there for?
There’s no rush. We were told that if we didn’t rush with the TARP bailout that things would crash. They rushed (I think the legislative delay was 3 days between the no vote and the approval) and we got a plan that didn’t work and wasn’t really tried.
Specter is a complete and utter idiot. That goes for the rest of the morons that voted for this monstrosity.

I believe he claimed or at least implied ignorance on the Health care portions of the stimulus bill.

Specter never admitted he had no idea what he voted for. Lie.

He has stated the same intent to boost IT sales as I had stated earlier.

Thank you for that endorsement. I think it made a lot of sense and Specter articulates that we don’t have to fear that the government have any influence how your doctors make decisions or do their job.

Call or Write the RNC pledging a donation to ANY conservative candidate run against Specter in his next primary.

First of all, I would have problems voting for a guy named Arlo Sphincter…
Sounds like some kind of ass-hole.

One of George W. Bush’ more egregious political mistakes was his support of Specter’s reelection bid over the candidacy of conservative Pat Toomey.

Maybe he was invoking the “Rule of Scottish law”? Which he says when he doesn’t know anything, which is almost all of the time.
