Arizona State University Refuses To Give Obama An Honorary Degree
Because they don’t feel he is qualified to hold one.
Arizona State will thank the president for his commencement speech with a hearty handshake instead.
President Obama will deliver the speech on May 13, but without the customary honorary degree.
University spokeswoman Sharon Keeler told the student newspaper: “Because President Obama’s body of work is yet to come, it’s inappropriate to recognize him at this time.”
I guess voting present in the Illinois legislature 131 times does not count.
But I thought campaigning for President was all the experience Obama needed?
