Aren’t Little Democrats Cute When They’re Indicted

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Indicted!

-A Tennessee man has been indicted for hacking into the e-mail account of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. David Kernell, 20, was charged with illegally accessing Palin’s Yahoo! account “by researching and correctly answering a series of personal security questions,” according to an indictment filed in U.S. District Court in Knoxville. ... If convicted of the felony charge, Kernell, an economics major at the University of Tennessee, faces a maximum of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Kernell, whose father is a Democratic state representative in Tennessee, turned himself in this morning to law enforcement authorities and is scheduled to be arraigned later today.

If you want to read the indictment follow the link to The Smoking Gun.

As Robert Blake said, if you can’t do the time then don’t do the crime.  I wonder if he learned this attitude from his father.  If so I can only imagine that the senior Kernell, a Democrat politician is proud of himself.

And of course he has only been indicted, not convicted.  So we don’t know for sure that he’s the guilty party.

Comments

It was and is a hypothetical…

Here’s a hypothetical for you, then: What would you be if you had intelligence and character?

If you knew anything, you would know that hypothetical questions are only answered out of choice; there is no obligation, especially with one so ridiculous and irrelevant as yours.

Stupidzed can’t even get his comparisons right.  The comparison is whether you’d rather see your daughter get pregnant or your son become a felon.

Actually, you got it backwards.  You are comparing a legal issue with a moral one.

I was correctly comparing the morality of both.  In each, we can imagine a victim.  If you had your druthers, which would you choose to be the victim of?

Would you rather your daughter be impregnated from her 16 yr old high-school sweetie, or that your hotmail account was hacked.

Everyone knows the answer Whister.

You are only being insulting because you know you have lost the debate.

I am not excusing his actions, you complete boob.  In no way do I think what he did is excusable.

I attacked your arguments.

Your first argument was to try and blame this on his father, or suggest his father might have influenced his son, and if so, then you should apply the same rule to Sarah Palin and her daughter who also divulged in immoral behavior.

You made the second argument that there was a distinction between a broken law and a moral crime and I proved that an illogical and useless tactic to defend your argument.

I handed you your ass and now you wan’t to spin this into something it is not to avoid answering the question, that undoubtedly proves you wrong.

Well that is because you are comparing an apple to an orange.

Orange = Moral mistake

Apple = Crime

Now compare apples to apples and see where that gets you.  Genius.

Apple = Moral crime of having sex before marriage, getting pregnant at 16.

Apple = Breaking into someone private email account and stealing emails from friends.

Again, I ask you;

Of the two apples, which one would you rather have happen to you?  Your daughter impregnated at 16 by her high school sweet heart?  Or have your hotmail account broken into?

You just aren’t the sharpest tool in the shed Whisltingguy.

Do you know what the words; “INTRODUCE AN IDEA FOR CONSIDERATION” mean?

Here, look up the word SUGGEST!!!!

Suggest:

1.  to mention or introduce (an idea, proposition, plan, etc.) for consideration or possible action: The architect suggested that the building be restored.
2.  to propose (a person or thing) as suitable or possible for some purpose: We suggested him for president.
3.  (of things) to prompt the consideration, making, doing, etc., of: The glove suggests that she was at the scene of the crime.
4.  to bring before a person’s mind indirectly or without plain expression: I didn’t tell him to leave, I only suggested it.
5.  to call (something) up in the mind through association or natural connection of ideas: The music suggests a still night.

You called the idea up in the mind through a natural connection of ideas.......by SPECULATING!!!!

Wonder:

1.  to think or speculate curiously: to wonder about the origin of the solar system.

You are a fool of the worst kind Whister.

The kid committed a felony.  End of story.  The legal consequences of his actions have already been discussed.
He will probably get a pass, due to his father’s connections, on the charge of trying to influence an election with that felony.  Too bad.  He should be smacked very hard for what he did.

Wow!

I probably shouldn’t bother to post as you guys have thoroughly hashed this. That said, here’s my thoughts as the grandma. My daughter got pregnant ON PURPOSE! She and her husband wanted to get married and wanted a baby. How do you know BP didn’t????? I will agree with Hannitized on one point: you are correct they are both moral decisions. However, as I said many moons ago, one is a crime. As for his father, or mother, for that matter, did they influence him, maybe. Did I do something to influence my daughter, maybe. I didn’t whore around, nor did I get preggers b4 marriage, but something I did could have. Or maybe it was her abusive father. I said I saw in an article where it said he said,{Kernell}, in one online post, I didn’t find what “we” were looking for. I don’t know if he meant the royal “we,” a friend, or his father, mother, brother, etc. I was just putting out the supposition.

Thanks for showing us your third grade level abilities Whistler.  At this point, you have reduced yourself to ignoring the obvious or being deceitful.

Out of three options you chose the wrong one.  Lets review your options again;

to mention or introduce (an idea, proposition, plan, etc.) for consideration or possible action: The architect suggested that the building be restored.

How about, The architect suggested a plan?  Yep!

How about, Whistler, the partisan hack, suggested an idea?  Yup!

Di, if you scroll back you can see that I fairly stated that I “personally” do not believe that Sarah Palin had influenced her daughter.  But it certainly is a possibility.

Further, the point is that if Whistler is going to make such partisan suggestions to make Democrats look bad, then he should consider the consequences of his logic because when you point your index finger at someone you have three other fingers pointing right back at you.

So my point is that according to Whistlers own stupid logic, he indicted Sarah Palin and his daughter from a moral perspective.

Capability does not equal performance.  With the Edwards piece, they did extensive actual investigation.  That was uncharacteristic of them; usually they just make things up, like the story about Sarah.  It had no sources and no actual investigation.
The Edwards piece was an exception.

I am weighing in on the technology side of it.

Hosted email accounts, such as the one Sarah was using are usually (99.9%) hosted Email servers are colocated in a large data center somewhere, usually a commercial publicly shared data center.  If not public than a large private data center consisting of several servers that have been virtualized to increase utilization of each server.

The data is stored on a shared storage platform of some kind, usually a SAN or NAS and the servers are virtualized so that they can easily perform maintenance or upgrades of servers without affecting their customers uptime.
