Are You A North Dakotan Interested In Politics?

More specifically, are you a North Dakotan interested in the outcome of the next legislative session?  If you are (and you should be) don’t forget to attend the North Dakota Public Policy Institute on Saturday December 20th at the Ramkota Hotel in Bismarck.

The even is being put on by SayAnythingBlog.com, the North Dakota Policy Council, Citizens for Responsible Government, the Land Owners Association of North Dakota, the North Dakota Taxpayers Association and the North Dakota Hospitality Association and will be a series of discussion and panels about many of the issues that will be facing our state’s political leaders in this upcoming session.  I’ll be attendance, of course, and on at least one panel.  This would be a great opportunity for Say Anything readers to get together as well.

The event is open to all interested parties, and our goal is to provide a forum for discussing key public policy concerns for North Dakota, and provide a means for us and the public to share information and to learn more about these key issues.  For more information, click here.  To RSVP, either or call Brett Narloch at the North Dakota Policy Council at (701) 223-8155.

Again, if you’re interested in politics and how this state is run, you should be at this event.

Go for it.

You may just learn a thing or two.

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

You’re the one bragging about being able to afford to fly to North Dakota at the last minute.2ajc8y1.jpg

Or vice versa.

Unlike at an event put on by, say, a teacher’s union we’ll actually let people who don’t agree with us talk!

Kevin, are you coming to the event?

Since that would require spending over four hours inside a car getting there, and four hours inside a car going back; no.
Give everyone there my warmest regards and I wish them the best of luck.4h4bqs.jpg

The auto companies are supposedly putting their corporate jets up for sale.

[W]hat you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I would like to come but I am moving from Gwinner into my new apartment in Fargo that day.

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.
