AP Poll: Obama 44, McCain 42

But, naturally, the AP doesn’t even get around to mentioning the overall results of the poll in their article about it.
Instead they ramble on for paragraphs highlighting every possibly negative-for-McCain aspect of the poll. But you can bet that if the poll showed Obama with a heavy lead the results would be in the headline.
We’re coming down to the wire, and the media wants Obama to win this so bad they can taste it.

    THat is a strange mix they needed to put obama out front.
    Why would it be deemed necessary to use a 57% to 43%?

    Even more curious is why the results weren’t 57% to 43%?

    It bears pointing out that the AP poll used 873 democrats & 650 republicans in this poll.

    Scanning through the stats offered in the pdf, it’d be hard to figure actually what the real split is when the participant numbers are equal on both sides, but I’d bet it’s VERY close with the possibility of a slim McCain lead.

    If Obama loses after leading in every skewed poll, then the Republicans stole another election. Don’t you people get it?

    THis is purely a guess:
    It’s an off-shoot of the decree by the left, after the last election, to do anything to win…morals be damned.
    SInce it’s easier to lead the lost, they’ve convinced many that they are lost.

    Every poll I have seen has a very skewed ratio of Dem/Rep. I looked back to 00 and 04, and didn’t see this phenom. Why is it so prevalent today? Is it to psyche out the Repubs or to salve the Dems? Does anyone know how this got started?
