Another Che Flag At Obama Headquarters
It’s unbelievable that this hasn’t caused more of a stir:

Free market types like myself have been laughing for years at the fools who go around sporting socialist imagery and propaganda on their t-shirts, buttons, backpacks and hats (because nothing says “socialism” like some private company making a buck off of selling the revolution to self-styled radicals), but the truth is that the glorification of socialist icons like Che Guevera isn’t really all that funny. Because the reality is that Che Guevera was a terrorist who plotted to murder tens of thousands of innocents:
Twice, Che plotted terrorist attacks against New York City. In November 1962, the FBI cracked a terrorist plot by Cuban agents who targeted Macy’s, Gimbel’s, Bloomingdale’s and Grand Central Terminal. They planned to blow up those landmarks with 12 incendiary devices and 500 kilos of TNT the day after Thanksgiving. Several months before visiting New York in December 1964 and being feted by the toast of the city’s intelligentsia, Che hatched a plan with the Black Liberation Army to blow up the Statue of Liberty, the Liberty Bell and the Washington Monument. The plotters were infiltrated in 1965 by a sharp-eyed NYPD cadet.
An homophobe and firm proponent of the “establishment” and government authority:
Che detested rock and roll and railed against “long hairs,” “lazy youths,” and homosexuals. At one point, he wrote that the young must always “listen carefully - and with the utmost respect – to the advice of their elders who held governmental authority.”
A racist:
Che sidelined black Cubans and mocked those who were part of the revolutionary movement. He once told radio host Luis Pons, “We’re going to do for blacks exactly what blacks did for the revolution. By which I mean: nothing.”
And a censor, anti-intellectual and cold-blooded murderer:
Che personally ordered 700 executions by firing squad, which he supervised at his jungle headquarters in Cuba. He also hosted book burnings, torching thousands of books owned by suspect intellectuals and librarians.
So the irony surrounding promoting socialist revolutionaries with capitalism aside, the fools sporting Che’s image should be mocked and derided for the supporters of terrorism, totalitarianism, murder and racism they are. Barack Obama should, at the very least, be asked if Che Guevera’s ideals are something he finds admirable. If he doesn’t, he needs to communicate that to some of the people who support him. If he does, shame on him for all the reasons I just mentioned.
And to think, most of the fools who would wear a Che t-shirt are the sort who would accuse President Bush of being a racist/murderer, etc.
