Hollywood liberals are so tolerant that people who criticize the liberal President they support automatically have their motivations questioned as racist. According to Angie Harmon, who is one of the few in Hollywood apparently not willing to just go with the flow.
Andrew Klavan made the following statement to liberals in general in an op/ed published in the LA Times over the weekend: “You’re not tolerant of a wide range of views; you are tolerant of a narrow spectrum of variations on your views.” I think that describes Hollywoood to a “t.”

Angie Harmon is not afraid to come out and say she doesn’t like how President Obama is handling the job — but she’s sick of having to defend herself from being deemed a racist.
“Here’s my problem with this, I’m just going to come out and say it. If I have anything to say against Obama it’s not because I’m a racist, it’s because I don’t like what he’s doing as President and anybody should be able to feel that way, but what I find now is that if you say anything against him you’re called a racist,” Harmon told Tarts at Thursday’s Los Angeles launch of the new eyelash-growing formula, Latisse. “But it has nothing to do with it, I don’t care what color he is. I’m just not crazy about what he’s doing and I heard all about this, and he’s gonna do that and change and change, so okay … I’m still dressing for a recession over here buddy and we’ve got unemployment at an all-time high and that was his number one thing and that’s the thing I really don’t appreciate. If I’m going to disagree with my President, that doesn’t make me a racist. If I was to disagree with W, that doesn’t make me racist. It has nothing to do with it, it is ridiculous.”

Angie is tired of double standards for Democrats and Republicans too. Oh, and she likes Sarah Palin.

“I do think McCain would have done a better job, only because I think he has more experience. I also think if W or John McCain or Reagan would have gone and done a talk show, the backlash would have been so huge and in his face, and ‘What is our president doing? How unclassy!’ But Obama does it and no one says anything,” Harmon said.
And in spite of the scornful opinions most of her Tinseltown counterparts have shared on Gov. Sarah Palin, Harmon remains a true fan.

Good for Harmon for speaking her mind.

I knew the answer. I was just trying to get someone on this site to be honest enough to admit that calling someone a Republican automatically assumes the name represents conservatism.

Bat keeps trying to pretend it does not. If it does not, the acronym RINO would not exist, it does, therefore Republicans represents conservatism.

And sadly for them, it is no longer the case. Conservatism doesn’t really mean conservative principles for them in politics these days.

Conservatism is a word for paper and theory, not for working ideas in the real world.

Maybe those who feel we need patience to allow Obama to work things out can help us determine whether he is clever, calculating or clueless:

1 – When Obama removed the ban on government funding of embryonic stem cell research, he removed government funding for the other two categories of stem cells, the ones that actually worked to cure disease. (Stupid is as stupid does.)

2 – By signing the Omnibus spending bill, O effectively killed the Fed’s Opportunity Scholarship voucher program that enabled 1,700 D.C. children to attend private schools, paying up to $7,500 per year for poor kids vs. the public school costing twice as much per year. Clever, calculating or clueless?

3 – When O received a gracious, thoughtful, generous gift from Prime Minister Brown, he gave Brown a bunch of DVD’s that didn’t work. Clever, calculating or clueless?

4 – O the campaigner said, “The entire earmark process needs to be re-examined and reformed,” then, as president, signed a bill with nearly 9,000 earmarks. clever, calculating or clueless?

5 – By signing that bill, he also effectively replaced the most important legislative development of the mid-1990′s: welfare reform. He is enabling the government to revert to the old, failed welfare system of dependency without end. Clever, calculating or clueless?

Obama isn’t going to solve anything primarily because he wasn’t elected to the office in which he sits. Not Bush was elected and Obama was appointed to fill the position. I talk to people all over the US every day and I have yet to meet one who can consciously remember being actually for Obama when they voted for him, even as much as being for a can of Spaghetti-Os when they grab one for lunch. No conscious memory of affirmation.

Concordantly, this also results in a problem for Obama and the left as they spent more than eight years personalizing their hate and spite. Their hate of America, their spite at America never embracing them and socialism the way they irrationally and arrogantly expect that is only right.

They personalized it in Bush and spread that idea among the populace which is of notorious short attention span and short reach for blame. Bush is gone. He’s stayed out of the limelight since leaving. Quiet as a mouse. Obama is there, and every one of his sycophants sings the praises of a man not competent to run a lawnmower repair outfit’s office.

The public now waking up from the standalone complex like after a drunk and finding a total stranger in bed with them, is looking for instant results, partly promised, and partly created in their minds through reaction to the idea they were fed for more than eight years by the left that their lives were missing something under Bush and the Republicans and so they expect whatever that missing thing is to be delivered now by the side that told them so.

Obama can’t deliver because he’s incompetent, deluded, unwise, and doesn’t have a mental connection to what the public wants because they didn’t willfully choose him or his agenda.
