Americans More Worried About Media Bias Than Political Corruption

At some point you’d think the media would start paying attention to stuff like this:

Voters overwhelmingly believe that politicians will “break the rules to help people who give them a lot of money,” but most say there’s a bigger problem in politics today—media bias.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 55% believe media bias is more of a problem than big campaign contributions. Thirty-six percent (36%) disagree and think that campaign cash is a bigger problem.

I think it’s time to admit that the media isn’t, nor has it ever been, objective.

Americans should admit that to themselves, and stop trusting everything they read in the paper and see on television, even if the journalists themselves won’t.

Bias is out in the open.  Nobody knows how much corruption there is (and what form it takes.)

[W]hat you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Media bias is a worse problem. Corruption is far more easily hidden when people are lied to by “journalists” in print and broadcast media.

2Hotel9, yes, Walter Duranty of the New York Times facilitated the murder of seven million Ukranians in the 1930s by communist Russia/USSR and Joseph Stalin.  I wonder why he was never put on trial?  How about after the fact?  That would keep those in the Hague busy for the next several centuries.
