I would bet that this picture is on a US base. I don’t think Americans are going to get leisure time at the local playground.
Why do the Iraqis need to learn to tolerate our soldiers’ behavior in their country? Sorry, but having traveled a bit, I’ve learned that one of the key things to avoid (even if your travel doesn’t involve being shot at) is offending local mores if you want to leave people with a good picture of our country.
It can be overboard (like Saudi Arabia), but basic prudence in behavior is, well, prudent.
Now that’s right out of a movie…A babe with a M-16 in a bikini!

Geez…they’re in the Green Zone, probably in a secured area. Our troops are very sensitive about other’s cultures, even when it is to our detriment. Just ask any of the very, very few females serving in Saudi…

I said nothing about myself here. I said by California standards of beauty, these women are ordinary. I’ll amend it to a little paunchy and untoned looking.

Let’s see: The human body contains about 6 quarts of blood (average adults)
Between 30K (by conservative #’s and over 100,000 innocent Iraqis have died so far). Let’s compromise and say 70,000.
That would be about 420,000 quarts, or 105,000 gallons of blood (not discounting for children that were slaughtered)
Let’s say the average pool contains abou 20,000 gallons of water.
I was wrong. Iraqi blood could fill over 5 swimming pools.

Notice the buildings in the background. How exactly does it win Iraqi hearts to have our soldierettes parading themselves around in plain view in bikinis? I’m sorry, but when in Rome, or Baghdad….

Yeah, this is what freeing the Iraqis is all about. The sad thing is, they can’t enjoy the same perks these average looking women are enjoying. (I guess to a Californian…to Heartland folk they’re probably hot). The Iraqis whose Green Zone we stole are outside the barbed wire and concrete barriers and live with death and dying every day.

RobertPerry, you and I actually agree on this. We keep hearing on this blog about how Mexicans should adapt to ‘OUR’ culture. Funny how we don’t think we should, even when we have invaded someone’s country.

who needs diane when she hates their relatives? Who needs diane when she hates based on what she doesn’t know about your cousin in iraq? who needs diane when they know that some of these soldiers do it for the money because they don’t have anything to spend? who needs diane when their soldier just wants to make his mommy proud? who needs diane when they don’t support the war but they support the troops? diane just hates all the troops. period. diane should learn to differ and prove otherwise.

Not to criticize the soldiers, but they do have a bit of chubbiness on them, and I personally don’t go for tattoos. Eventually they sag or you might want to start looking at nice clothes that cover them when going to a special event.
I used to have a 6 pack and can get it back easily if I want to.
Anyways, at least someone is enjoying themselves.
