Algore’s Movie Is Full of Lies and Distortions

If there were good facts behind “Global Warming” they wouldn’t have to lie about it.

Many of the assertions Gore makes in his movie, ”An Inconvenient Truth,” have been refuted by science, both before and after he made them. Gore can show sincerity in his plea for scientific honesty by publicly acknowledging where science has rebutted his claims.
For example, Gore claims that Himalayan glaciers are shrinking and global warming is to blame. Yet the September 2006 issue of the American Meteorological Society’s Journal of Climate reported, “Glaciers are growing in the Himalayan Mountains, confounding global warming alarmists who recently claimed the glaciers were shrinking and that global warming was to blame.”

Other examples include the facts that the Sahara desert is growing like Gore claimed in his movie, but rather is shrinking drastically. The southern ice cap isn’t shrinking, in fact it’s been “growing significantly” and unlikely to lose any mass this century. Greenland ice caps are growing. Gore claimed that “Global Warming” causes more hurricanes and tornadoes, both of those claims are false.
Algore’s movie doesn’t stand up to scrutiny. The worst thing about the movie is that the public schools often are forcing children to watch this propaganda and claiming it’s fact. Hopefully those kids will find out that his movie is full of lies just like Algore is.

    Michael Moore,
    Albert Gore.
    “Fake but true”,
    Say no more!

    Tim Lambert:

Too bad that Taylor fabricated that quote to attack Gore. Doesn’t that bother you?

Well I don’t take the word of non-scientists such as Taylor to make my own judgement. Or even non-scientists like al Gore, for that matter.

For a more substantive review of the movie, see the New York Times review.

What is clear is that the movie was full of major scientific flaws. The question addressed in the NYT article was more was the net impact of the movie positive? Even given Gore’s inner-circle of scientists have to work hard to keep his constant exaggerations in a positive light.

Are you saying that Green Al Gore, the inventor of the Internet, inspiration for the movie Love Story and all around bon vivant might not be telling us the whole truth?
Next you’ll be telling us that Michael Moore makes stuff up for his movies!

So, Taylor can not be believed, yet a computer sciences specialist can? Nice try. Spend a bit of time actually going through climatological data from more than Algore’s supporters. Lots of it out there. Places such as NASA, NOAA, JPL. You know. Those science type people that disagree on the causes of climatological variance.

Some glaciers are shrinking, some are growing. Ever heard of a little event called Atmospheric Evaporation? A couple of very good articles that describe it in relation to glacial surface loss and snowpack loss on Kilimanjaro.

And exactly how are we causing warming on Venus and Mars and the inner face of the Asteroidal Belt material? Got a snappy, glib answer for all that scientific data?

Consensus is not science, it is how you and a group of friends pick a restaurant. Or America picks the next Idol. Or school children pick their favorite ice cream. It is not how we decide to end industry and agriculture. Get a clue, not a consensus.

Algore; The Goreacle is less than truthful? I am crushed.
