Alan Keyes Sues Over Obama’s “Natural Born” Status

Alan Keyes, former long shot candidate for President, former long shot candidate for the US Senate has filed suit in California Superior Court questioning the status of Barack Obama as a “natural born” citizen. I won’t comment on the merit of the suit, but many years ago, when I was living in California, I actually voted for Keyes for President. The nomination had long since been clenched by another candidate and mine was a protest vote more than anything else. (Yes! I was the other one who voted for him!) Having previously voted for a black man for President, I hope you realize, that to paraphrase Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.:

I was judging Barack Obama, not by the color of his skin, but by his lack of character!

Since then, though I’ve come to realize that Keyes does not have the temperament to be President, it would certainly be ironic, if after having been brought in as a carpetbagger to run against Barama after Chicago dirty politics eliminated the stronger opponent Jack Ryan, it would be Alan Keyes to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat and send Barack Obama back to a somewhat smaller community to organize.

He traveled abroad. He had to have a passport. So he produced a birth a birth certificate. If he gives in once then every tom dick and harry will be demanding to see something. What’s next? Paternity tests for his daughters? the length of his dick? Is his sphincter muscle functioning properly?

The question of Barack’s birth status should have been put to rest before the election. Blame the decided lack of curiosity of the MSM for that!
Like instant replay, there would have to be “incontrovertible evidence” for the call of the electorate to be overturned. I doubt that standard will be met.

The Supreme Court will never hear any case involving his citizenship.
If he is found not to be a natural born and denied the presidency than massive riots will occur in our cities.The court will always find a legal excuse not to hear any such case.
The real problem is the Supreme Court.
I propose the following scenario.
Someone from vital statistics leaks information
that Obama has no birth certificate on record and is either charged with a felony or fired.Cae then goes to the Supreme Court.The court then denies the case because the firing was based on policy and
not on the actual document.
The sad part would be that the case would deny someone from defending the constitution

Yes, the dude who has said that rioters should be shot, fatally, on sight surely advocates riots to win your agenda. Eye roll. I mean I know you don’t know me, but from the things I’ve said in the past I think you could reasonably infer that was not my intent.

There would be riots if the President elect was removed because Alan Keyes wasn’t satisfied with the state of Hawaii saying “he is a citizen”. Keyes and others are trying to get Obama tossed on a technicality..ANY technicality.

And as much as I don’t want the man to be President, that’s not the way to do it.

I don’t think it’s too much to ask that the candidate actually PROVE he’s legit.
And asking that he actually presents the proof is in no way compared to the list you offered.
None of the items you mentioned are requirements for the office.

Sadly, this and his Selective Service Fraud will get swept under the rug and Barry Soetoro will ruin this country with his Socialist/Marxist (with Islamic Principle) Ideas. For every 1 Legal vote, he will match with 2 or more Illegal votes. This is how he ran Raila Odinga’s election in Dec 2007. (Rigged Elections and Media Bias). The people of Kenya (Barry’s Hometown) found out afterwards and there was 3 months of Bloodshed before a new President was installed. Odinga stayed on as his advisor to quell the bloodshed. Look this stuff up. I think he was practicing for the US election here in the US. Not everyone drank Odinga’s Kool-aid, but more than half drank Obama’s. I hope America is not lost, but it is his Fixed GVT and Money against the people. Either we will be miserable like the people under Moussolini, or we will have a 2nd Civil War. Where are the FBI, CIA, NSA, Police and all other GVT agencies on this? They probably think that America Needs a Wake Up call. Well, this will be it. His Civilian National Defense Force will keep the people at bay and Re-Educated. The Fairness Doctrine will make sure that the TV and Radio Media only tells us what they want us to hear. USSA. United Socialist States of America. Maybe Texas will succeed and we can all live there. Maybe Australia and England will take us as Refugees. I pray to God every day while I am still allowed to.

Here’s what amazes me. Since being a naturalized citizen is “required” in order to be POTUS, why has no governmental election agency required to see his birth certificate?

The FBI? The CIA? The FEC? The friggin SEC? No one is even the least bit curious? Why is it such a big damned mystery that the government of Hawaii even ‘sealed” his birth records and said “take our word for it, he is a citizen”?

No they did not produce a certificate. They produced a bureaucrat to say one exists in the file. That means nothing.

And the short form certificate is also unacceptable. We need to see the long form which has physician’s signature, full info on the parents, etc. There is no conceivable legitimate reason why Barack Obama continues to refuse to provide this basic document.

When he was in Hawaii, he could easily have gone to the County Recorder’s office and obtained a certified copy of the long form on the spot and had a great photo op/screw you moment with the press looking on. But no, he hires CAIR lawyers to fight the production of this long form certificate and chooses to fight nine different law suits instead and giving the Constitution a big eff you in the process.

The question now is will he or will he not defy the SC order to produce by Dec. 1st? What the hell is he trying to hide if there is nothing to hide?

I didn’t care in the beginning, but now because of his refusal to produce a legitimate certificate, I question whether there is one and it makes the claim of the Kenyan certificate much more believable.

He escaped on the technicality of standing in PA, I don’t know where the other cases stand right now, and Keyes is testing the “standing” issue by filing not as a voter, but as a candidate. These are Federal cases and if he defies the SC, we have a serious Constitutional crisis on our hands.

I think Keyes, who I believe has serious ego issues, sued based on the fact that California has a legal obligation to the voters to directly and clearly certify the basic qualifications of any candidate or they dare not allow them to take office until such certification is completed.

Question: Do you have to show a birth certificate each time you renew your passport? I didn’t, since they already had it on file. He got his original passport as a child and probably has had to renew it every ten years. So who knows what certificate was used originally, but I don’t think the passport argument holds up, given the circumstances.

Alan Keyes is a very odd duck. I was “loaned out” to his failed Maryland Senate campaign from my job as a staffer for the senior elected Republican in the state. I, along with several others who were sent to work on his campaign, really thought he might have a chance and we worked hard for him. He lost. He won in all the predominately white counties and lost big time in Baltimore City and Prince Georges county, which were two of the largest counties and both predominately black voters.

His reaction on election night and in the weeks after made all of us angry and also glad that he ended up losing. No appreciation for any of the hard work done on his behalf. No acknowledgment of his own short-comings and his own failure to deliver the AA vote. He really isn’t a very nice person.

He is very bright. He is solidly conservative. Well educated with a Ph.D from Harvard and well-trained as the Assistant Secy of State as a protÃ©gÃ© of UN Ambassador Jeanne Kirkpatrick and a Reagan appointed Ambassador. But, it all boils down to a lousy personality and terrible social skills leaving those who have had to work with him with a bad taste afterwards, and a chip on his shoulder the size of a 4×4 beam.

In other words, a perfect person to file this law suit and maybe get something done on the issue.

Plus, the Berg suit in PA was dismissed on the technicality that Berg (and by extension voters) don’t have standing in court on this issue. Keyes is testing to see if another candidate will have standing, since the courts have said that the voters do not.

Have to get on my soap box again. Along with TRUTH is INTEGRITY and ETHICAL behavior. None of these traits have been demonstrated by BO. Good character is developed by honest and truthful actions, if, if, you want the trust and respect of people. What is being dragged to the White House is a huge dung pile of corrupt and dishonest actions and covered with frosting to make it look pretty. Remove the frosting and the smelly dung pile is still there. Perhaps the White House should be renamed the Scheiss House. Did I go off in a tangent? Maybe, but I feel better.

That doesn’t mean anything of course. If the State of Hawaii can produce a genuine birth certificate (and they say they can) this will be a very short lived suit.

Either way, it will settle this whisper campaign once and for all.

You’re right:

HONOLULU — State officials say there’s no doubt Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.

Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said Friday she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.

Fukino says that no state official, including Republican Gov. Linda Lingle, ever instructed that Obama’s certificate be handled differently.

She says state law bars release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest. Some Obama critics claim he was not born in the US.

Earlier Friday, a southwest Ohio magistrate rejected a challenge to Obama’s citizenship. Judges in Seattle and Philadelphia recently dismissed similar suits.

DailyKOS released what was purported to be a legitimate birth certificate, but that was later proven (see Wizbang) to be a forgery.

No one has produced an archive long form of the birth certificate. And, all we have is the “word” of a dem. bureaucrat that one exists in the file in Hawaai. After what we saw in Ohio with in the tank Obama officials, why would/should anyone take only the word of some bureaucrat, especially when both a Kenyan birth certificate is supposed to be available and there are those in Kenya willing to testify they have first hand knowledge of his birth there? The short form certificates posted on line are worthless and easily forged. The various lawsuits, I think up to nine now, are asking for the archive long form copy, as is, as I understand it, Justice Suter, be produced by Dec. 1st.
