Al Gore While Accepting Nobel Prize: “We Are What Is Wrong”

And what he means is that we, the human race, are the problem.  Given that Gore and his disciples feel that the very air we exhale is a pollutant, that isn’t an exaggeration at all.

Of course, immediately after accepting his prize Gore is flying back to the tropical paradise of Bali where he and the rest of the global warming faithful will be emitting more pollution during the course of their conference than the entire country of Chad.

So when Gore says that “we” are the problem, he really means you are the problem.  Because he, clearly, isn’t concerned enough about climate change to modify his jet-setting ways.

Comments

Gore’s the perfect example of what’s wrong with the collectivist mindset: rules, regulations, and limitations are for thee, not for me.

Yeah, we are the problem. According to an AOL poll people believe Gore is right.. and that tells me majority of people are the problem. ARGGHHH!!

AOL Poll
What do you think of Al Gore winning the Nobel Peace Prize?
He deserves it 59%
He doesn’t deserve it 30%
I have mixed feelings 10%

I would like to know where these people are because everyone I talk to thinks he’s a nut case.

Oh brother!  Enough with this tired right-wing meme.  What is he supposed to do, swim.  What Gore suggests is nothing more than what other countries are already doing better than we are.  The reccomendations he offers won’t hinder how often you fly, only how fuel and energy is used.  But you probably know this (or actually it’s more likely you don’t) but there is nothing more fun for a conservative than to make a non-point.

Well done!

All these environazi idiots keep coming to that point. Humanity is the PROBLEM. Well, why won’t they take the necessary steps to fix the problem. Lead the way. Humanity is causing harm to the Earth, then suicide is the only solution. Provide the example that will lead all of us ignorant peons to their level of enlightenment.

So Gore blasts humanity with this rhetoric:

We, the human race, are confronting a planetary emergency - a threat to the survival of our civilisation that is gathering ominous and destructive potential even as we gather here

And then jets off to Bali to join the 10000 others gathered to decry the “ominous” scenario that is upon us.  If it was really that big of a problem, wouldn’t it be better to forego these pointless, unproductive meetings that just happen to take place in super exotic locations?

When Al Gore takes this supposed problem seriously, than maybe I will take him seriously.

J.R. on December 10, 2007 at 02:43 pm

How much CO2 do you think humans emit?

As for Algore: The Goreacle jetting all about the globe, it is totally unnecessary. The very Internet we are on makes it obsolete. He can spread his theology without stepping out of his house. Which sits emitting CO2 and other noxious pollutants whilst he is out jetting all about the globe.

I think that this is the closest that Algore ever came to uttering the truth.

If you assume that he was using the royal “we” than he was dead on.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

OMG.

Yes, we have all seen A Convenient Lie.

How much CO2 is emitted by humans?

The really sad thing is that, after being in the middle of it, he doesn’t know what the real problem is.

Or, he knows the truth and is being encouraged to keep up the controversy as an added distraction.

The powers-that-be will not allow anything other than token environmental legislation and you will be told how much it’s going to cost you, get to listen to industrial whining, and made to feel guilty as it is passed.

Apparently you don’t know what the real problem is, either, ews.  Hint: Study Communist East Germany.

Yes.  I also read it.

More importantly to understanding what a blatantly obvious pile of lies it is, I read and watched multiple rebuttals.  Did you?

All of you speak, before you think. What a boring circle jerk!

That our words don’t match what you are pleased to consider your thoughts does not make our words any the less true.  What a boring pissant!

I’m going to rebut “An Inconvenient Truth” with a single paragraph consisting of three sentences, all of them irrefutably true.

Carbon dioxide levels do not precede atmospheric temperature rise, but follow said rise, by about 800 years.  Atmospheric temperature variation is cyclical, (existing long before mankind developed fire) short term and long, the short term being about 11 years, the long term stretching into centuries, and somewhat variable.  Mars is warming also, it’s shrinking ice caps stand as irrefutable evidence that most global warming is solar in origin.

There you have it, one multi-million dollar boondoggle pwned.  By Science!

Oh, and Hannitized?  You might want to bring your brain to these things.  Not that I’m sure it would do you much good.  You don’t strike me as a man with enough gun, so to speak, to engage in a battle of wits.

Randy,

First, read the comments before you attempt to jump in during a dispute.  Second, if you bothered to read, you could have learned that 2Hotel didnt seem to comprehend that Gores movie talks about how to lead the way and does not mention that we shouldn’t fly or shouldn’t drive.  It only talks about changing HOW WE USE FUEL.  THAT, was my argument, to explain the painfully obvious to him.

The argument you are attempting to make assumes that I am favoring Gore’s position.  Further, you assume incorrectly.  Anyone who’s spent any time watching the crazed political fight about a non-political debate certainly knows that the data that exists (that was used to formulate your theory) is subtle and open to interpretation.

The little show you watched that makes you feel so superior also has its critics.  See link below.

http://inthegreen.typepad.com/blog/2007/03/deconstructing_.html

Lastly, I am never one to rush to judgement or conclusions....excluding rushing to judgement on stupid people on stupid sites, like this one.  Therefore, I am still waiting and reading before I come to an informed opinion.

Happy Holidays....Dittohead!

dany, you are going on record, officially, with the position that CO2 is not a pollutant. Well, you are not as stupid as you pretend.

sanitized, A Convenient Lie is anti-human propaganda and shot full of lies, as Randy so adroitly illustrates. The derision heaping continues.

2hostel,

You are one of the dumbest people I have ever come across...and you don’t even understand how simple minded and pathetic you are.  Click my link and learn something.

Then, watch how Danny disappears and refuses to respond to that information I provided, because he can’t counter it, because he was force fed like most cattle and he moves with the herd.  You, are just the droppings the heard leaves behind.  Pathetic.

Hannitized on December 11, 2007 at 10:51 am

Once again Hannitized responds with an utter lack of substance.

I guess I should consolidate all these links together for convinience sake.
Then there are several more to add . The PDF is available from WileyInterscience on this last.

sanitized, for just a moment we will set aside the derision heaping shovel and attempt to enlighten you just a tad. Algore is a huckster. He does not care about you, other than to get as much cash out of you as possible. He knows nothing about environmental systems and their interactions. Educate yourself about the global climate and just how complicated it is. Become aware of just a little of the multi-layered and interdependent nature of the various parts of the planet’s atmosphere, from rock to vacuum. Then reconcile that against the anti-human propaganda you are being force fed.

As the man said before going overtop in 1916,"Free your mind! Your ass will surely follow.”
