Al Gore Nominated For The Nobel Peace Prize

Sigh…

Former US vice president Al Gore is seen as a possible winner of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to save the planet from global warming, the head of the Oslo Peace Research Institute has said.

Well why not.  They gave it to a terrorist, why not a blow-hard chicken little who has devoted his life to telling us that the sky is falling?

But as if the nomination itself weren’t enough to make you laugh (or weep bitterly), check out their reasoning for it:

The former US vice president is currently criss-crossing the globe with his documentary “An Inconvenient Truth”, a hard-hitting rallying cry against global environmental catastrophe.

Criss-crossing the globe, eh?  I wonder how much jet fuel that’s burned up, all of it putting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

I’ll bet he doesn’t fly commercial either.

Isn’t this the same bunch of nimrods who gave the Peace Prize to Yaser (Never Met A Joo I Didn’t Wanna Kill) Arafat and Jimmy (I Hate Those Damn Joos, Too) Carter? Yeah, their judgement is sound.

The left will pop wood and be orgasmic over it but it’s all a dog and pony show supporting the leftist agenda. It means diddly squat in reality.

So what’s his work have to do with peace anyway?

The Nobel Peace Prize committee is made up of dysfunctional anti-capitalists who love nothing more than a chance to try to give the needle to the free world.

Rush Limbaugh the druggie was also nominated to that “dysfunctional anticapitalist” group.

By Mark Levine, as a joke to mock Gore’s nomination.

He read the press release on the show today.

The purpose of government shouldn’t be to do good, but simply to refrain from doing evil.

Puzzlefeet said, Rush Limbaugh the druggie…

Are you going to make fun of his “pee-pee” next?

Naah, I’ll leave that to guttermouth, he’s the master!

Al Gore creeps me out as a messenger for the environment. It’s hard to take him serious, and at the absolute very least, he coudl use a good image consultant.
