Airing Live: The Scott Hennen Show With Co-Host Rob Port

Written By:

Starting today the Scott Hennen show is adding a new feature. Namely, me. Scott and I have worked together for years now, starting with me being a frequent emailer and caller up through being a frequent guest host. Now I’m taking on a new roll with the show: Co-hosting.

It’s still Scott’s show, mind you. I’m not even sure that “co-hosting” is entirely the right term for what I’ll be doing, but basically I’ll be on air with him for his entire show every day providing additional commentary for callers and guests.

Anyway, every day I’ll be posting the live video/audio stream for the show as well as a run-down of the show’s guests. Today’s stream and show lineup are below.

Watch live video from AM 1100 The Flag Videos on Justin.tv

2:10 ND State Rep. Chuck Damschen (R-Hampden) is our guest to discuss his bill which would ban alcohol at college sporting events where minors are present, which would affect Ralph Engelstad Arena for Sioux Hockey games and Bison tailgating. Is it a good idea?

2:30 Open Phones

3:10 Timothy Carney, author of “Obamanomics” and senior political columnist with the Washington Examiner, on the hypocrisy of Byron Dorgan, the “prairie populist” becoming a K Street lobbyist.

3:30 More Open Phones

4:15 Ellen Ratner, White House Correspondent from Talk Radio News Service, takes your calls live from Grenada.

4:30 A preview of the Converge on the Capitol Tea Party rally on Monday in Bismarck with some of the organizers, Dustin Gawrylow, President of the ND Taxpayers Association and Charlene Nelson, ND state director of the Campaign for Liberty.

NEXT WEEK….Coverage of the Obamacare repeal vote in the House, House Majority Leader Al Carlson, an extensive update on infrastructure needs in ND.
