Air America Host Accuses Troops Of Murder

Air America host Mike Malloy:

MALLOY: This [the war in Iraq] is on a level with the Hitlerian attitudes towards the Jews and towards the Russians. This is just butchery, this is just murder, my God.

Right. Liberating Iraq from a cruel dictator, setting up a government designed by the people, holding three democratic elections and rebuilding infrastructure all while battling cowardly, head-chopping insurgents is exactly like Hitler exterminating the Jews or Stalin exterminating his own people.
“My god” indeed. What’s scary is that there is a faction of the American left that’s eating this stuff up. Though that faction doesn’t comprise of many people given Air America’s ratings.

    I used to listen to Mike Malloy here in Chicago on WLS-AM in the evenings. His show was funny in an unintentional way – there were hordes of callers that slipped by the call screeners and helped Mike make himself look foolish.

    Naturally, because he is a leftist, his talk show failed miserably and he got booted off a major league station.

    Now he is in the minors, working for Air America, but not for long hopefully.

    No need to pay attention to the unmedicated rants of this desperate individual.

    For your informaton, Hitler killed millions of people. I don’t know if you are aware of that, but claimining that there is a moral equivalence between the Holocaust and what is going on in Iraq is disgusting, and shows a complete lack of respect for what happened to the jews and others under Hitler’s reign.

    If anything, Bob’s links prove the exact opposite of his point.  Military members who murder and abuse are an abberation of an otherwise highly trained, highly diciplined force.  The fact that they are not getting away with it, are being subjected to military dicipline, shows the military is not running amuck a la Ghengis Kahn as many desperately want to believe.
