Adios

I can understand those who have a sincere, conscience-driven or religious objection to the death penalty. But they are wrong, for there is no moral justification for allowing rabid animals like this to continue breathing. Adios, dirt bag!

HUNTSVILLE -- Train-hopping serial killer Angel Maturino Resendiz, linked to at least 15 indiscriminate slayings near railroad tracks across the country, said he deserved what he was getting and asked for forgiveness before he was executed Tuesday night.

Resendiz, 46, mumbled a prayer, saying, "Lord, forgive me. Lord, forgive me" as he waited for the execution to proceed. His feet nervously moved under a white sheet partially covering him.

He acknowledged relatives watching through a nearby window and then turned and looked toward the victims' relatives in another room…

"I thank God for having patience for me. You did not deserve this. I deserve what I am getting."

He then said a prayer in Spanish. He was pronounced dead at 8:05 p.m.

I deserve what I am getting.

It’s actually refreshing to hear a scumbag say this.

I can understand those who have a sincere, conscience-driven or religious reason to execute people and struggle with rationalizing the imperfections of their vengeance and judgement with the finality of their acts.

WOOF,

Its one thing to try and improve your vocabulary, and I certainly applaud your efforts in that direction.  By all means, keep at it.

However, even modest attempts at literacy are severely undercut without some sort of logical framework on which to hang your new-found baubles and toys.  Running about with them draped about your neck like a strand of half-assed, little rhetorical puka shells ain’t likely to do much for your image.

One of the lessons of actually going to war is the realization of just how fragile life is, and how horrific and permanent death can be.  The notion of well-earned capitol punishment is not something I “struggle to rationalize” at all.  We all die.

The beads are for trading with the natives.
They like shiny stuff.
