A sign of the times…

Obama’s idea of bipartisanship is “shut up and do what you’re told.”

Oh, I forgot. You already have on several occasions! You may return to your irrelevance now!

Obama’s a good speech reader. But he can’t advance his agenda by talking in
platitudes that mean different things to different people. He was able to
attract a lot of moderates by making them think he was one, while reassuring
his hard leftist base that he was one of them.

  • robert108

“Obama went to the Republican retreat, that is an effort. Did you expect him to go their and agree with all the Republicans?”

It was just another photo op for that preening narcissist, and you know it. Even though he “won”, he is still whining about real Americans not wanting his commie agenda.

Everyone has always claimed that Obamas strong point is his ability to communicate. Yet look at the last year. Obama has been in the news, on TV or giving speeches for the last year. Yet at the end of that year everyone of his policy proposals are polling in the 30′s.
I think the myth that Obama is a great communicator is just that a myth. In fact I would argue that he has harmed himself by talking so much because what he is selling is such a bad product. The man almost never gets a bump in the polls. At best he halts his slide for a bit and then it starts down again.
Just remember that Obama’s greatest hits from the ’08 campaign got him elected and now are being used to beat him over the head now. Him mouth is his worst enemy. He is calssic example of words not matching deeds. And the deeds he is held accountable for are not just his own. When Obama mouths his bi-partisan talking points along comes Pelosi the kneecapper and Reid the door locker and their deeds show Obama words to be lies.

“You are all a bunch of idiots, posers, and naysayers with no ideas. We would like you to join the discussion and vote for our newest plan because bipartisan support is important to the american people” (not an actual quote)

  • robert108

“So why do you and your comrades keep whining that the Dems are excluding RepubliTeas? Why do you keep crying alligator tears. We are not that dumb.”

Setting aside your lying descriptions of real Americans, it’s about dialogue, not your commie tyrannical monologue. Sorry you can’t tell the difference. Our govt was set up to be a continuing dialogue, which is why there is no mention of “bipartisanship” in our founding documents. Sorry you don’t know that, even after I schooled you.
Just as you commies tried to obstruct President Bush from defeating Saddam and AQ in Iraq, and just as Obama is trying to destroy our economy with his Marxist policies, it is the duty of all real Americans to oppose this tyranny.

You just don’t get it, which is probably why you can’t even do your numbers.

  • I don’t like today’s GOP

“BIG180″ Gosh darn! That nickname sure fits you. You must get dizzy when you post. Have you ever tried spinning around and around counterclockwise? I think that instead of getting dizzy, you might start to think straight.

  • sayanything-4204

hmmmm….who to compromise with 1st: Obama or Radical Islam….

Is there a lessor of 2 evils in the choice?

  • robert108

Idiot sockpuppet: “Bipartisanship” is just leftie code for railroading their commie agenda without any opportunity for real Americans to stop it.
Real Americans are rejecting Obama’s commie agenda, and he’s whining about “bipartisanship” after he did his “commissar” act with the unread “stimulus” payoff scheme and he tried to do it with the healthcare takeover, but a guy with a pickup truck put the smackdown on Obama, now he’s crying.
Vigorous dialogue is the American Way. When you try to be a totalitarian in a free country, you get smacked with the consequences.

  • sayanything-279

    Bully in chief

  • sayanything-4928

Obama could barely get a cogent idea out of his mouth. No TOTUS means a stuttering Obama. He’s not an idealogue my a$$.

  • http://proof-proofpositive.blogspot.com/ proof_positive

If your point is deceitful partisanship, Liberal sockpuppet who lies about today’s GOP, then maybe you should change your name first?

  • I don’t like today’s GOP

“schooling in basic US govt, moron; you won’t find any mention of “bipartisanship” anywhere in the founding documents.”

That is the smartest thing you have ever written. So why do you and your comrades keep whining that the Dems are excluding RepubliTeas? Why do you keep crying alligator tears. We are not that dumb.

Proof may be dumb enough to believe there can be bipartisanship, but you know better. Know I see why they call you “big 180 ;)

Thanks for justifying the exclusion of the obstructionist/destructionist Republican’ts from legislative discussions.

  • robert108

If by “proving your point”, you mean “smacking your lies with the truth”, then I’m always glad to do that, sockpuppet.
You need schooling in basic US govt, moron; you won’t find any mention of “bipartisanship” anywhere in the founding documents. I already smacked you with the truth of what Obama means by it.

  • I don’t like today’s GOP

I think the reactions here and on Fox “news” prove that bipartisanship is impossible with the Rebumblicans. They may actually be decent people, bot something, probably tea baggers, is keeping them from doing what is best for the country.

So until the Republican’ts decide they really wanna play nice, I believe the Democrats are justified to exclude them.

The Conservatives keep asking, “Will you play a nice game of rochambeau with me you disgusting anti-American marxist uppety ni**** lovers, I’ll go first.” (not an actual RepubliTea quote)

I think the President, Congressional Democrats and the American people are smart enough to not accept the offer. Republicans need to get serious or get run over.

  • lioncourt

Obama went to the Republican retreat, that is an effort. Did you expect him to go their and agree with all the Republicans?

  • sayanything-3110

I love the my dad can whip your dad comments here it is fulfilling . and it even does not add to the debate .

  • I don’t like today’s GOP

You should change your name to “Proof”, cuz you keep proving my point.

  • robert108

When one guy in a pickup truck can derail your whole agenda and get you whining about being a victim when you have a large majority, your Party is in Deep DooDoo!

  • sayanything-5721

    He got laughed at douchebag.

  • I don’t like today’s GOP

I liked how your right-wing fundamentalist buddy, Nieman, described the thrashing handed out by the teleprompterless President Obama, “Obama Meets With House GOP – He Did Well!”

  • sayanything-5371

I had a boss like Obama once. He said “I’ll listen to what you say but I’ll be the one making all the decisions.” His decisions were usually wrong. All the people I worked with very quickly refused to work with this boss in any way. Eventually he had to quit and walk away from a 100K + job.

Obama’s idea of bipartisan is that everything is done in accordance with his idiology. Eventually he will isolate himself and have to go away.

  • I don’t like today’s GOP

Now we’re attacking your “family structure”?

I’ll just let you argue out of both sides of your mouth and let you agree with me 50% of the time.

  • robert108

So, no counter argument, sockpuppet? All you have is dyslexia and juvenile namecalling.
My position is very clear: Obama’s “my way or the highway” tyranny isn’t the way we do things in this country; it’s supposed to be a dialogue between opposing views, while the phony term “bipartisanship” represents a monologue. Our Founding Fathers knew that a united govt was tyranny for the people, so they created one in which dialogue, or as you lying lefties put it: “partisan bickering” was how things were to be done. That govt which governs least governs best.
Sorry you’re too stupid to understand basic US govt.

You commies thought it was your duty to oppose our fight against terrorism, and now you think it’s your duty to try to destroy our economy and our family structure, while it is our duty to oppose and defeat you.
What part of that don’t you understand?

  • sayanything-1439

Sort of like bagging sand after the flood. The left (barri’s party) did not include the right in the discussions. They locked the darn doors or changed the locks to keep them out. What do you expect in return..? For the right to kiss his ring..?

Please stop thinking we a stupid. Your game is over.

    atease

  • hannitized

Translation: You had a boss that you didn’t like, so you rebelled and when he left to go make more money, with people who were smarter than you, and could actually do their job, you saw it as your success, instead of your failure. Shocker!

    And 100k + is nothing…..

  • sayanything-6955

The “ONE” is just a divisive, evil, lying thug! And he needs to be stopped before he destroys this country. Elections matter!!

  • sayanything-7956

“Hilter kills Jews, urges religious tolerance.”

  • sayanything-316

He does not acknowledge that his Republican foes (there’s that Leftist concept of politics as war, again) are not free to vote with him at his whim.

They REPRESENT the will of those who put them in office. They are, in effect, champions for those who listened to his campaign platform and voted for that approach to governance.

The concept of a champion goes back to early England, when, before they had a trial by jury, it was trial by combat. Might, essentially, made right. In disputes over land, property and other rights, the opposing sides were to duke it out or fight it out with weapons.

When one side was too infirm to fight for themselves, or wealthy enough, they would high one who would fight in their stead — a champion. Thus, a form of substitute combat.

This has persisted, both in the courtroom, where your attorney is your champion and hopefully a good one, and at all levels of government, where you do not vote in a town square, which is still done in Switzerland, but you vote for a Representative and hope that he or she remembers their promises to you when they finally get into office.

Thus, Republicans, and indeed, all Senators and Representatives have no duty to support Obama. Their duty — as champions of their electorate — is to zealously advocate the rights of their constituents within the bounds of the law.

Obama has no clue, or more likely, a foaming hatred of our Constitutional framework of government. He, like all Leftists, who are at bottom, filthy Statists, wants unfettered, unquestioned control and it seems to be the Chicago way to use the Gold or Lead method of influencing others — if they don’t take the bribe of Gold, then they will die in a hail of Lead. In this case, we are not quite their at the full Lead treatment, but you can be certain that he will be trying to threaten those who block his unquestioned power with some dire consequences.

    Buy ammo.

  • sayanything-4642

bipartisan is for those with no conviction. if what youre doing is right, fight for it.

  • sayanything-4808

So not one liberal troll can find a way to create an imaginative if delusional rationale by which that headline might not sound so bad.

If you leftists cannot come up with one creative spin, we’re going to have to go and look for new trolls.
