Academic Herpes Virus Ward Churchill’s Trial Begins In Colorado

Just in case you can’t tell, I’m not by any stretch of the imagination a fan of Ward Churchill, plagiarist, anti-American, and heap big phony Indian.
If you’ll recall, this academic STD was fired from the University of Colorado for academic malfeasance, up to and including plagiarism. He also claimed to be an Indian, but has been denounced by the real deal as a phony. Not only that, a couple of newspapers did a geneology on him and found not one drop of Indian blood. Anywhere.
Anyway, his political ranting after 9/11 got him the attention he wanted. Unfortunately (for him, good for the rest of the human race) it led to his exposure as all of the above. Now he’s suing, claiming his firing was an attempt at suppressing his freedom of speech.
Instead of me regurgitating what someone else has already done so well, go to this site for a nice recap and some more photos of the sterling folks who support Churchill.
People like this guy disgust me beyond words. He hates America, yet hides behind her Constitution and courts in order to destroy her.
Thanks to Zip for another peek under the rock.

I think, even if they DID fire Psycho Ward Churchill for his comments about “little Eichmanns,” they had a right to. He was teaching crap; he was indoctrinating in stuff not on the subject; therefore he was not doing the job right. Is the University supposed to be a slave to its trashy teachers?

His bigoted anti-American guttersnipery was simply beyond the pale.

He lied on his employment application/resume. He’s a fraud and they had every right to fire him.

    Does constitution also protect plagerism?

yelling fire in a crowded theater is not protected. i agree 100% that he can say anything he wants in public, just not in my office.
