Aaaannnddd Down Goes Another Obama Nominee

Obama’s nominee for the head of the National Intelligence Council, the very controversial Chas Freeman, has withdrawn his nomination.
I’d tell you how many flopped nominations that makes for Obama, but at this point I’ve lost count.
Also, today is day 50 for Obama’s first 100 days in office. Let’s sum up what he’s accomplished so far.
* A massive expansion of government health care entitlements that will add billions in tax burdens.
* The single largest spending bill this country has ever seen, done in the name of “economic stimulus” and passed without adhering to any of the promises for transparency and accountability Obama made during the campaign.
* A plunging stock market that seems to accelerate downward every time Obama or one of his administration opens their mouth about the economy.
* The promise of another mass “stimulus” spending bill that this country can’t really afford but is, we’re told, needed because the first one didn’t do enough.
* A spending bill chock full of the sort of pork Obama said he wouldn’t sign into law but has promised to sign into law anyway now that he’s in office.
* A state visit from a friendly, long-term ally that left Obama’s administration “overwhelmed.”
* So many failed nominations that the whole spectacle is beginning to reach the point of self-parody.
Hope and chance!

He has no intelligence experience,” Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), a member of the committee said Tuesday afternoon.

Well, Obama has no executive or military experience (he is the commander in chief you know); Hillary has no state department experience. Does anybody in Obama have experience for the position for which they have been selected?

We need a catchy name for them, like reality bereft democrats who call Republicans “goppers”.

Knowing how most of them lied about their taxes, we could call them “Whoppers”?

    But I like:

Considering the danger Freeman posed to the nation with his flagrantly pro-Saudi, pro-Palestinian views, his withdrawal is welcome news indeed.

John, Paul, and Scott at Powerline have been on this story since the possibility of a Freeman nomination was first floated. They deserve our thanks.

If three strikes is out for the inning…

And four strikes is out of the game…

Where does that leave “The One”?

That’s 4. Ties the record, doesn’t it? Maybe the faux messiah should pray to the real messiah for instructions on how to assemble a cabinet!

Still leaves a lot of thieves, cheats, queers, whoremongers, and worthless, baby killing, democrats to choose from.

By golly I think we have us a new record.

A hardy congratulations to the former Senator from Illinois for new setting the new record of failed cabinet appointments. Along with being the first President of hyphenated ethnicity this new record makes one wonder if there’s anything he can’t break!
