A Four Shot Cell Phone Gun

This is a nasty little piece of work.

After you view that video, click over to You Tube and check out this one. And after you watch it, ask yourself this question: If you were a police officer in the same situation would you shoot or not? Especially after seeing the cell phone gun posted above.

A lot of second guessing goes on about the decisions that police officers have to make in a split second, arm chair quarterbacking done from the safety and comfort of home or your friendly neighborhood bar - and on the net - with the luxury of time that officers on the street often don’t have. The current protests by Al Sharpton in New York come to mind.

Watch both videos and, again, tell me.....would you have shot or not?

I think the cops should have shot as soon as she took a firing position.

There was another video Rob posted a couple years back.  You had a person walking away from a bunch of cops.  All of a sudden he spins around holding a shiny cell phone like a gun.

The obvious happened.  Of course the race huksters were out in force over that one.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

Whistler,

The second incident you’re talking about happened in Shreveport. Same type of thing. Dark street, the guy turned, took a shooter’s stance, and pointed what turned out to be his cell phone at the officers. They shot him. I would have, too.

The only bright side is that those officers were cleared in the subsequent investigation. They still have to live with it, though.

I wouldn’t second-guess the actions of the police. They got the suspect in custody with no shots fired. Best possible outcome. That said, had they dropped her, I’d have a hard time condemning their decision to do so, BASED ON THE GRAINY VIDEO PROVIDED THERE.
