A Car Bomb Is Found, Destroyed In London

It was filled with gasoline and armed with nails and other shrapnel for maximum killing effect.
The liberal reaction? FEAR MONGERING! AND/OR A CIA PLOT TO GIN UP SUPPORT FOR CHIMPY’S WAR OF AGGRESSION!
Gotta love the way the left takes the threat of terrorism seriously.

    I wonder how many of these things have to go off before the loons change their opinion of this. This is a real threat and not just a bumper sticker slogan.

    The bomb near Piccadilly Circus was powerful enough to have caused “significant injury or loss of life” – possibly killing hundreds. Police also were investigating the possibility that the planned attack could have been criminal in nature. here

    Seems like an odd statement considering no matter what the intent isn’t a bomb a crime?

    Hurm. . . both a complete non-issue AND a CIA scam to perpetuate a horrible crime and blame AQ. I should read into this more, very curious what the Joooooos did.

    It seems to me that the comments that are offending sensibilities are directed at media coverage of the plot rather than the event itself. If one reads the comments of Londoners who continued on about their business with their stiff upper lips one can’t help but be struck by the absence of jingoistic overreaction and, if I can be indelicate for a moment, a certain spirit of bed wetting. I watched CNN for a while and it really was a bit much.

    That’s my observation FWIW.
