A Book Recommendation: Principled Action

Say Anything reader James Best, who has been kind enough to let me interview him on the radio on occasion, asked me to write a blurb for the cover of his new book Principled Action: Lessons from the Origins of the American Republic.

Best’s historical fiction about the constitutional convention which lead to the Constitution we know today, Tempest at Dawn, was an excellent read, so I was ready to endorse his new book almost sight unseen (he did send me an advance copy to review).

Here’s my blurb. I’ll admit that it was hard to whittle my praise down into just a few sentences:

The book is worth your time.
