Byron Dorgan’s Book
Go ahead and read it if you want, but I can pretty much sum it up for you here:
Corporations are so evil. And so greedy. And Byron Dorgan is so cool for pointing that out, even if he is from a stinky red state.
Anyone else wondering why one of the Senators of one of the most conservative states in the union is fast becoming a favorite among far-left wing whack-jobs like those who frequent websites like Daily Kos? Could it be that Byron Dorgan doesn't at all represent the political ideology of North Dakotans and only holds onto his office by getting 92.1% of his campaign contributions from out of state (which allows him to bury challengers who depend on in-state donations with media ads) and bringing home reams of federal pork money?
I'd say that's likely. I mean, Dorgan appeared in Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 for crying out loud, and we mainstream North Dakotans are supposed to believe that our junior Senator represents our right-leaning interests? Give me a break.
I wish they'd sent me a review copy of this book. I mean, why not? I got an advance review copy of former liberal Democrat Senator Gary Hart's forthcoming book, why not give me an advance copy of a book written by my own Senator?
Guess they probably wouldn't like what I have to say about it.
