John Kerry Serves As Jury Foreman

John Kerry was called upon to do his civic duty recently.

BOSTON -- Senator, presidential candidate, jury foreman: John Kerry was wearing that last hat the last two days.

He served as foreman of a jury in Boston.

The Suffolk Superior Court jury heard a case involving two men who sued over injuries suffered in a car crash involving a city employee.

Jurors deliberated for about 90 minutes before finding the city negligent, but rejecting damages for the plaintiffs.

They found the city negligent, but awarded no damages. Would it be safe to say that Sen. Kerry was for the plaintiffs...before he was against them?

Well, at least he didn't get beat out in the election for foreman. Now that would have been humiliating.

How would I be mocking myself?

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

Humorous on many different levels--are you mocking yourself, Rob?

[...] John Kerry, however, (not having a country or a war to run) had plenty of time to serve on a jury. [...]
