Howard Dean Is Off His Rocker

Like you didn't know that.

Anyway, here's the latest bit of drivel Screamin' Dean had to offer:

(CNSNews.com) - Despite being scolded in June by members of his own party for inflammatory remarks targeting Republicans, Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean Friday showed no willingness to back off.

At one point, he characterized the Republican version of campaign finance reform as "screwing working people and making sure that the fat cats are giving more money."

Back in June, Dean accused Republicans of operating with a "dark, difficult and dishonest vision" of America. Dean labeled President Bush the "most ineffective" president in his lifetime.

And in referring to the long voting lines during the last presidential election, Dean speculated that Republican voters didn't mind the lines as much. "Republicans, I guess, can do that (stand in line) because a lot of them have never made an honest living in their lives," Dean said on June 2.

Several Democratic governors and members of Congress denounced Dean's comments, but on Friday, the Democratic Party chairman was back to hurling insults.

President Bush "only likes to hear from people who agree with him," Dean told the College Democrats of America, and Republicans, he said, "are all about voter suppression."

After asking the students to donate money to the Democratic National Committee, Dean said "one of the biggest problems in this culture of corruption that the Republicans brought to Washington, is they sold our government to the highest bidder.

"If we want it back, we'll have to buy it back," Dean said.

He also said the president was partly responsible for a recent Supreme Court decision involving eminent domain.

"The president and his right-wing Supreme Court think it is 'okay' to have the government take your house if they feel like putting a hotel where your house is," Dean said, not mentioning that until he nominated John Roberts to the Supreme Court this week, Bush had not appointed anyone to the high court.

The President's "right-wing" Surpeme Court? Give me a break. The President isn't responsible for a single current member of the Supreme Court and those sitting on that bench are hardly right-wingers. In fact, the people Dean would define as "right-wingers" on the Court at the time (Scalia, Thomas, Rhenquist and O'Connor) all voted against Kelo.

Dean is a loose cannon. If he toned down the nastiness a bit he wouldn't be so bad, except for the fact that he can't even get the most basic facts straight in his spittle-flecked tirades.

"Hi, My name is Howard Dean, and I’m a complete moron. Can someone help me get this foot out of my mouth?”

Re the court, you have to understand the perspective of the leftists. Groups like the ACLU think that Stevens, Kennedy, Ginsburg, and Breyer are “moderates”.

I wondered how long it would take before the blame for the Kelo decision was placed on the Right. Given Dean’s large mouth, it didn’t take long. Yet all of the leftist groups want more justices like the five that were in favor of the Kelo decision.

I’m no fan of conspiracy theories but I think that alot of this is choreographed. The Democratic leadership want Dean to stir up the loony left while Hillary makes a move to the moderate middle. This way Hillary is electable and Dean gives the Dems a sense of a backbone and appeases the big money radical liberals.

Howard Dean is not a loose cannon.  Howard Dean is just your garden-variety idiot.  Jeez, he makes Ross Perot seem positively lucid.

Regards.

Two things about this story jump out at me:

First that GOPUSA is the ONLY source for this story, and their record of accuracy and truthfulness is...shall we say, spotty at best?

Secondly, that claiming that the GOP is dedicated to “screwing working people and making sure that the fat cats are giving more money” is a completely accurate statement, so what’s all the fuss?

Dean riles up the young Dems who like to hear tough talk.  That’s his job, it’s what he does.

”...claiming that the GOP is dedicated to “screwing working people and making sure that the fat cats are giv[en](sp?) more money” is a completely accurate statement...”

Ok Don, so straighten me out.  Explain how Souter, Stevens, and Ginsburg are really the “Neocons”, and Thomas, Rhenquist and Scalia are the true liberal moderates who slipped by a Republican President to be nominated.

That or explain why the most liberal of the SC Justices went for this bullsquat and the conservatives opposed it.  Because we know Liberals would never support the taking of land from the working people.  Which explains why this happened in Texas… (what, oh, Connecticut; bah they’re too conservative there as well I guess).

Are the Republicans clean here?  Umm, nope there are certainly Eminent Domain stones to throw at both sides.

But if you can’t see that blaming Kelo on the right-wing conservatives (for the Govt. in Conn. and the most liberal members of SCOTUS) then you must have missed several days of the Kelo trial rundown.

And for bonus points, explain why the Govt. is now taking in more in taxes than before the evil tax cuts, and how more of the actual money being taken is coming from the rich that the GOP was pandering to…

Because that statement is only true to a Marxist such as yourself.

’“screwing working people and making sure that the fat cats are giving more money” ‘

I’m always confused about those liberal talking points. Are Republicans ignorant white trash stuck in low paying jobs or are they all super rich corporate barons who control the world?

Republicans must be both, ICallMasICM.  Maybe they’re all politically bi-polar, huh?  [/sarcasm]

Hey, I know another politician who can’t open his mouth without mispeaking or getting something wrong too.

Any guesses?
