David Horsey Is An Ass

What an ass.

David Horsey

Right. Because smearing the reputations of the men and women who risk their lives to defend us is so funny.

Here's a more accurate portrayal of our service men and women.

(via Michelle Malkin)

Update:

More, from Bill Maher:

WASHINGTON May 23, 2005 --ť A congressman says comedian Bill Maher's comment that the U.S. military has already recruited all the "low-lying fruit" is possibly treasonous and at least grounds to cancel the show.

Rep. Spencer Bachus, R-Ala., takes issue with remarks on HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, first aired May 13, in which Maher points out the Army missed its recruiting goal by 42 percent in April.

"More people joined the Michael Jackson fan club," Maher said. "We've done picked all the low-lying Lynndie England fruit, and now we need warm bodies."

I don't know about canceling Maher's show (I wouldn't be for it) but that comment is truly horrendous. To paint all of our troops with the same brush as Lynndie England is beyond the pale.

Liberals: We support the troops, we just happen to think they're ignorant and racist.

Rob...are you under the illusion that the US military isn’t torturing and killing civilians?

If so (and this may come as a shock, dear boy), you should also know that the Iraqi people did NOT welcome us with open arms, the war ISN’T paying for itself, and Iraq did NOT have weapons of mass destruction.

Also, there is no Tooth Fairy.

sorry.

I have thin skin when it comes to comments like this—fortunately, the 1SG I’m married to doesn’t.  He always says, “I wear the uniform so he can be a flamming liberal asshole.”

Gotta love him smile

Good point, especially since cartoonist David Horsey speaks for all liberals.

Nor would I, Rob. With all the problems the Democratic Party has today, they just don’t have the time to condemn every crazy cartoonist who attacks the troops!

Fair enough, Dave, though I won’t hold my breath waiting for the left to condemn this rather vicious attack on our troops.

Don Myers, Thank the Lord you are not my brother. I would kick your ass until I found something better to waste time on! Get a new line, the same old tired bullshit is getting more tired by the day!

Don,

Torture isn’t as widespread as barking moonbats like you and David Horsey make it out to be, dear boy.

Mr. Horsey only depicts one torture viction in his cartoon, Brandon. Is therefore your position that the number of torture victims is less than one?

Is this your idea of an acceptable level of torturing?

Quote from the cartoon…

Another one of them dang Muslim ragheads up an’ died on us!”

Kind of destroys your interpretation of the cartoon, Don.

And to answer your question (assuming the story you referenced is true), no that’s not acceptable.

I just find it ironic that liberals like you are more worried about allegations of torture from our military, yet there isn’t the same kind of condemnation when terrorists, excuse me, insurgents like al-Zarqawi chop hostages’ heads off.

Why is that, Don?

The reason the Left doesn’t criticize Zarqawi for cutting off peoples’ heads, is because it is not his fault.  It is only because of the alienation caused by the evil American capitalist system that drives him to do bad things.  If it was not for the US, the world would be a peaceful and conflict free place.  After all, humans are basically good, and it is only because of private property and greed that they behave otherwise.

How’s that for torture.

Simple.  Don is on the side of the terrorists.  Don’t believe me?  Just read his comments.

They need to add a corollary to Godwin’s Law, one that applies to conservatives who accuse liberals of supporting terrorists. It’s bound to happen in an online argument, and once it does, the discussion is over.

That’s one hell of a leap in logic---since I’m anti-torture I must be pro-beheading.

We’ve come to expect that kind of fucked-up, head-up-the-arse thinking from lik, but I didn’t expect it from you.

Over here in the reality-based community, we’re against torture and murder PERIOD. Since I’m an American, I feel a special need to speak up when the US military does it---in our names, as it were.

If you read Brandon’s comment the correct way, he didn’t say that to begin with.  That’s the problem you have with me.  You have comprehension problems.  You are reading what isn’t there.

Over here in the reality-based community...

Hahaha.  “Reality-based community”.  Add it to “liberal”, “progressive”, “pro-life”, “compassion”, and “tolerance” as words that really mean the exact opposite of what people like you use them as.

Since I’m an American, I feel a special need to speak up when the US military does it—in our names, as it were.

The only thing you are lacking is a sense of perspective.

The point is still valid regardless of your political views.

The President mis-represents facts (regardless of how it happens) and its oooops we can’t stop now that we are there.

Newsweek mis-represents the facts (regardless of how it happens) and they and all other medias should be shut down.

Funny thing is both had the same result, Loss of life.

Don-

I have tried and tried to find any semblance of logic or rational thought in your posts. While anything approaching actual logic or reason was missing, I did notice that, for a cowardly piece of flaming liberal trash, you claim to know a lot about the inner workings of the military. Since we all know that you don’t have the balls to fight for the right to desecrate this country and its soldiers with your pro-terrorist rants, it is obvious that your only source of information comes from partisan hacks like Kos and the traitors at DU.

But, I’m not telling you or anyone else here that has had the misfortune of stumbling upon one of your moonbat rantings. The thing that really gets my blood boiling is the fact that you have the audacity to demonize the very soldiers that secure your freedom, while siding with enemy. What good do you really see coming from barking moonbats like yourself? Do you actually think for one second that those terrorists you defend so frequently give a FUCK about you? OR, do you harbor some illusion that one day, your voice will be heard and all soldiers will lay down their arms, so these murdering fucks can come into our country and kill us all. Because that is what we are fighting for, Don. Not oil, or land, or any other bullshit reason you heard in a chant at a hippie rally. We are fighting to protect this country, and the very idea of freedom, from those who would destroy both if given the chance. And, no matter how much of a patriot you and your liberal friends think you are, you are soon becoming more than just a liability in this fight. With every step further in your anti-American activities you take, you become less of a petty nuisance and more of a traitor.

And you know what we do to traitors, Don

Please show me where I uttered such a phrase.

I’m willing to give you’re ilk the benefit of the doubt. I just wonder why your ilk goes apeshit over any claim of torture by our military but harbors a deafening silence when a hostage gets beheaded. That’s all.

The President mis-represents facts

Richard,

If you’re referring to the WMD claim, then I guess you can add a handful of prominent Democrats as well as the intelligence agencies from Britain and France to the list of people or organization that ‘mis-represented’ the facts.

Newsweek mis-represents the facts (regardless of how it happens) and they and all other medias should be shut down.

No rational person has insinuated such a thing. We’d just like the standards that big media outlets like Newsweek use to be changed so that such a gross display of irresponsible journalism can be avoided in the future.

Same thing goes for the method used by our intelligence agencies that reported it was a ‘slam dunk’ on the issue of WMD’s. Identify the problem and fix it constructively.

Its called the battered liberal syndrome (or BLS). There have been many trolls (JG, Hus, and now you) who come to this site despite the ass whippings and abuse because you actually think we like you or take your opinions seriously.

But, much like the liberal politician who actually believes the American people support him, you cry like a little bitch every time you our faced with the facts:

1. you are ALWAYS wrong

2. NO ONE CARES WHAT YOU THINK

I hope you find help with this problem, Don, so maybe you can hold on to what little dignity you have le...(reads previous post).. oh wait

And the fatcs were misreported in both cases it doesn’t matter under what circumstances which is why both should be held equally accountable.
