Oh To Be A Norweigan High Schooler

The Norweigan high school experience is apparently a little different than America's.

Aftenposten - Antics by Norway's 'russ', reveling high-school students who celebrate impending final exams with often unbridled debauchery, have caused a new controversy after a stripping stunt was filmed and publicized via the Internet.

A 19-year-old girl promoted her campaign to be the local russ president by stripping naked at a student assembly at Atlanten High School in Kristiansund two weeks ago.

Well, that's one way to get votes.

You can see a picture of the girl in her dancing outfit here. And by "dancing outfit" I mean "naked except for Norway's flag painted in a strategic area."

Damn. Their end of high school tradition called “russ” looks like a hell of a lot of fun. I almost wish I could go over and show them how to dance. I just know that a lot of their parties play techno and jungle/dnb.
