North Dakota State Quarters

According to North Dakota Senator Tom Seymour (D) the U.S. Mint has released four designs for North Dakota's state quarter.

Sen. Seymour has created an online web poll so that North Dakotans (or any random internet user, I guess) can vote on their favorites.

Personally, this is my favorite:

Roger Maris Quarter

But then I'm a baseball nut and a Yankees fan, so I'm a bit biased. And the Maris design isn't an "official" design so really there's no hope for seeing Roger on a quarter any time soon.

Don’t ask...I’ve been miserable.

Watched the afternoon game with the Rangers on my computer.  The only good thing I can say about it is that Wright might go on the DL now.

The thing about the Yankees is they have no teamwork. You can put together a team of all the best players, but you can’t expect them to magically be great. Watch out for the O’s this year.

Yeah things have really gone to hell for you guys ever since Dave Roberts stole second. Oh well at least you have a young group of guys to build around for the future, or not.

I don’t think it has anything to do with team chemistry and everything to do with the fact that the Yankees have abandoned the principles that brought them their most recent dynasty in the late ‘90’s: Develop young talent, bring up soldie and disciplined hitters, have strong starting pitching.

Now the Yankees are trading away young talent for older, established stars and its killing them.  Last year the two biggest problems with the Yankees were their starting pitching and their weak bullpen.  To remedy the situation the Yankees added another aging former star and left the bullpen essentially the same.

It makes no sense.
