Denial Of Service Attack
Sorry for the buggy/slow loading of the site today. According to the administrators at my host they're being targeted in a denial of service attack. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the recent spate of comment/trackback spam that his hit the blogosphere or not but I can tell you that I've been getting about 100 spams an hour since yesterday.
Thankfully the Wordpress/Spam Karma combo Mark set me up with has kept even a single spam from being displayed on the site except for a few of the new trackback types. But even those were prevented by a quick fix from Mark. If you've got a blog you're not satisfied with or are thinking of starting up a new blog you really should get a hold of Mark and have him set you up. He's good and his rates are reasonable.
Anyway, it seems as though the site is up but loading slowly and not loading at all in some instances. Hopefully my host will have everything back under control by this evening. Until then, please bear with me.
